Job Description
Pompei Pizza on West Side Ave in Jersey City is looking for an experienced and fast-paced customer service professional who is responsible for:
-greeting customers
-taking in person and over the phone orders, quickly and accurately
-cutting hot pizzas out of the oven, quickly and accurately
-warming slices in the oven
-restocking spices, sauce cups, drinks and paper or packaging products as needed
-maintaining the cleanliness of the public areas and behind the counter
The ideal candidate has the following:
-at least 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced fast-casual food service position
-understanding of basic Italian-American food
-ability to comprehend directions, follow instructions closely and retain information
-the willingness to receive feedback, learn and grow with the team
-a sense of urgency, knack for cleanliness and anticipation of next steps
