Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and driving sales. Responsibilities:
– Manage all aspects of the store’s operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service
– Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet or exceed store targets
– Help train and supervise store staff to ensure they provide excellent customer service
– Create and maintain a positive work environment for all team members
– Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock replenishment
– Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
– Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
– Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions
– Oversee the visual merchandising of the store to maximize sales potential
– Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling
Requirements:
– Previous experience in retail is a plus
– Strong knowledge of retail operations, including sales techniques, inventory management, and POS systems
– Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
– Strong communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to multitask and prioritize
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
