About Holiday Collective x Petal and Company

Holiday Collective is a leader in luxury holiday décor, large-scale installations, and experiential design. From transforming commercial properties to producing unforgettable seasonal activations, our work combines artistry, precision, and operational excellence. We partner with some of the most prestigious properties, retail destinations, hospitality groups, and public spaces to bring immersive seasonal experiences to life.

As we continue to scale, we are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead aggressive growth initiatives through strategic new business development and commercial contract sales.

This is not an entry-level sales role. We are looking for a proven closer — someone with a strong track record in high-performance B2B sales environments who thrives on building relationships, generating revenue, and exceeding ambitious targets.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will lead outbound sales efforts and play a critical role in expanding Holiday Collective’s client portfolio across hospitality, commercial real estate, retail, luxury, and experiential sectors.

The ideal candidate is a highly successful sales professional with strong prospecting instincts, confidence in high-value deal-making, and the ability to independently drive the full sales cycle from outreach to close. This role requires someone who is entrepreneurial, disciplined, competitive, and energized by performance-based compensation and growth opportunities.

You should be comfortable creating opportunities from scratch, building trust with decision-makers, and consistently delivering measurable sales results in fast-paced, relationship-driven industries.

Key Responsibilities

Own and execute the full sales cycle, including prospecting, outreach, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing

Drive aggressive revenue growth through proactive new client acquisition and commercial contract sales

Identify, pursue, and close high-value opportunities within hospitality, retail, commercial real estate, luxury brands, and experiential sectors

Build and maintain a strong pipeline through strategic prospecting, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship cultivation

Develop estimates, proposals, and sales presentations for commercial décor and experiential installation programs

Establish and strengthen relationships with property managers, developers, hospitality groups, retailers, and corporate decision-makers

Represent Holiday Collective at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings

Collaborate closely with operations, production, and design teams to ensure successful project execution and long-term client satisfaction

Maintain disciplined CRM management, forecasting, reporting, and sales activity tracking

Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue goals, KPIs, and performance expectations

Qualifications

5+ years of proven success in business-to-business sales, ideally within experiential, hospitality, events, commercial services, luxury, design, or related industries

Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals

Strong history of success in commission-driven or performance-based sales environments

Exceptional prospecting, cold calling, appointment-setting, negotiation, and closing abilities

Highly confident communicator with strong executive presence and relationship-building skills

Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently generate and convert opportunities

Competitive, ambitious, and motivated by growth, financial success, and measurable results

Comfortable operating in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with high accountability

Strong organizational and pipeline management skills with CRM experience required

Ability to confidently manage multiple opportunities and long sales cycles simultaneously

Existing relationships within hospitality, commercial real estate, retail, luxury, or experiential sectors is a strong plus

Ability to travel throughout NYC and the surrounding region as needed

Why Join Holiday Collective?

High earning potential with a competitive commission structure designed to reward top performers

Opportunity to work with iconic properties, brands, and destinations across New York City and beyond

Be part of a fast-growing creative company operating at the intersection of luxury design and experiential production

Autonomy to build your own pipeline, develop strategic relationships, and make a direct impact on company growth

Collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with significant opportunity for long-term advancement
