Cheech’s, a fresh and exciting bagel and coffee concept located in the heart of the Hamilton Park area in Jersey City, is looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join their team!
Cheech’s blends the best of New Jersey bagel shops with the vibrant atmosphere of a New York deli.
The shop will remain open every day of the week and is seeking team members who can work mornings and day shifts.

- Cool, laid-back, and easy to work with!
Cashiers Key Requirements:
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately handle cash and card transactions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and positive manner!
- Ability to remain calm and friendly even in busy or stressful situations.
- Proficient in using POS systems or willing to learn quickly.
- Ability to multitask and handle cash, orders, and customer questions simultaneously.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in orders and payments.
Baristas Key Requirements:
- Previous barista experience is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, including espresso machines, grinders, and coffee brewers.
- Strong passion for coffee, including understanding the quality of beans, grind, and brewing techniques.
- Ability to create and serve a variety of coffee beverages and maintain a clean and organized coffee station.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring an inviting atmosphere for all customers.
- Ability to handle busy periods while maintaining high-quality drinks and customer satisfaction.
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations.
