Job Title: Paid Social Executive (Paid Media)
Location: Hoboken, NJ
Job Type: Full-time
Reports To: Group Operations Director
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paid Social Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the development, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns across various platforms. You will be responsible for helping drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions through paid social channels, while working closely with our marketing and strategy teams to ensure alignment with broader campaign strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy:
- Work alongside current paid social media team members to analyze the relevant social landscape and identify opportunities for paid strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assist in developing and driving strategies for ESM’s clients paid social media accounts across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others.
- Assist the Account Management and Client Services teams in creating strategic cross-channel strategies that align with client objectives.
- Collaborate internally with other product teams to grow cross-department plans and initiatives.
- Support and contribute to the growth of the paid social practice within the agency by sharing insights and emerging trends.
- Work with the audience development team to ideate and develop plans for client approval.
Activation:
- Execution of paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
- Learn and assist in the analysis and monitoring of ad performance on a daily basis, recommending optimizations when necessary.
- Work with ESM’s internal departments to implement optimizations once approved.
- Assist in gathering and reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual paid metrics for social media campaigns using ESM’s analytics dashboards.
- Learn and support A/B testing to identify high-performing ads and incorporate findings into future campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in paid social media advertising or digital marketing.
- Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and experience using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or other similar platforms.
- Understanding of audience segmentation, targeting, and paid media optimization.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with social media content creation or graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
