Job Description
Position: Food Business Bootcamp Event Producer
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: Virtual with periodic in person responsibilities
Key Event Dates: Kick Off Reception – October 2nd and Food Business Bootcamp – October 19th
Overview
Hudson Kitchen is searching for an Event Producer who is responsible for leading the New Jersey/New York Food Business Bootcamp event. You will work directly with the CEO to ensure the Bootcamp’s success. You are responsible for event management, marketing, ticket sales, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Event coordination and logistics for our Kick Off Reception and Food Business Bootcamp course — create run of show; manage day-of production; hire event staff
- Work with CEO to develop and execute an event marketing plan to create program awareness and sell 30 tickets
- Track key performance indicators and develop program recap
- Provide status updates though reports and meetings with the CEO
Requirements
As we’re looking for an ideal fit, our new Event Producer will likely possess the qualities listed below.
- Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization skills
- Experience in managing stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to establish and document repeatable processes that can be used for future events
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
- Ability to speak passionately and articulately about Hudson Kitchen’s mission
- Demonstrated understanding of the consumer packaged goods industry and food business development a plus
