Job Description
Story Builders is a story-based, imagination-centered, adventure-filled drama class for children ages 3 to 5. It’s designed to help little ones hone their social skills, develop confidence, and express their wonderful, creative selves.
We’re currently looking to hire an Assistant Teaching Artist for our Hoboken classes (May-June).
Those who will best succeed in this role must:
- have experience working with children in a childcare, babysitting, family, classroom, camp and/or arts setting
- enjoy taking care of, teaching, and learning from children 3-5 years old
- be punctual, playful, engaging, and able to adapt quickly and creatively to meet the needs of the classroom
- love to have fun and bring one’s own personal and creative style to their teaching
- have experience assisting children with bathroom visits
- ensure the highest level of safety during class time
Thursdays (3:15-4:50pm) – 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 5/25, 6/1, 6/15 @ $50 per day
Fridays (10:30-11:35am) – 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 6/2, 6/9, 6/23, 6/30 @ $35 per day
Fridays (3:30-6pm) – 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 6/2, 6/9, 6/23, 6/30 @ $75 per day
