Job Description

Bounce Mkt is a Hoboken-based business that is changing the experience of buying and selling kids’ secondhand items, and we’re looking for a Part-Time Associate to join our team.

The Associate will create an outstanding customer experience for customers buying and selling pre-loved kids’ clothing, both in person and through our digital channels. Specific tasks may include tagging and preparing clothing for sale, photographing products, creating product listings for our online store, fulfilling orders placed online, operating a point of sale system, stocking display racks, and assisting customers shopping in our workshop.

Your responsibilities:

  • Create a great experience for our customers both in-person in our workshop and through our digital channels
    • Prepare items for sale, including product photography, inputting items into our inventory system, creating listing for our online store, and stocking items on workshop display racks
    • Assist customers in the workshop, including using our point of sale system for transactions
    • Fulfill orders placed through our online store

Compensation: $18 per hour

Shifts: 15 hours per week. We’re flexible on days/timing, but most shifts would take place during the week with the occasional Saturday shift.


  • Retail and/or customer service experience is preferred
  • You’re knowledgeable in and have a passion for kids’ clothing and styles
  • You’re a people person who is friendly and eager to interact with customers
  • You have strong communication skills
  • You can identify and resolve problems in order to improve the customer experience
  • You’re comfortable with basic computer and smartphone technologies
  • You’re authorized to work in the United States

Location: Bounce Mkt workshop within the Monroe Center for the Arts in Hoboken, NJ
