Are you a Hoboken Girl / Montclair Girl reader and a PHP wiz? We are looking for you!

We are looking to hire a talented part-time PHP developer to work with our web team to help manage our WordPress optimization, plugins, SQL databases, and help us with new functions + some web development projects on a relatively ongoing basis.

You should have in-depth knowledge of integrating object-oriented PHP programming into WordPress, and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3. Ultimately, a top-level PHP Developer can design and build efficient PHP modules while seamlessly integrating front-end technologies.

PHP Developer Responsibilities:

Conducting optimization analysis of website and applications.
Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules.
Optimizing our MYSQL databases.
Troubleshooting application and code issues.
Responding to integration requests from our senior developers.
Coding back-end features and testing web applications.
Updating and altering existing plugins to enhance performance.
PHP Developer Requirements:

WordPress
Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5.
Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming.
Previous experience creating scalable applications.
Full familiarity of SQL databases.
Good problem-solving skills.

You will work with our IT person, as well as our founder + team on new projects.
