Job Description:

Seeking a bright, motivated person to coordinate client’s weddings from the 6 week out mark through the wedding day. This person will be responsible for ensuring the day runs smoothly and is the dream day for our clients.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Lead and be responsible for logistics and execution of weddings, including both the rehearsal and wedding day
  • Prepare timelines and floor plans, based on discussions with the couple, and circulate to all relevant parties
  • Attend site-visits and client meetings prior to the event day, to get a feel of the space and what the couple is looking for
  • Communicate with vendors, acting as the main point of contact for the weeks leading up to the wedding and on the day-of
  • Set-up and tear down of event space, including placement of decor and florals

Skills and Abilities:

  • Creative and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Outgoing personality, energetic attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Google Docs, social media platforms, project management and basic graphic design are a plus

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business or Communication (recommended)
  • Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, for assisting with events
  • Must be able to schedule phone calls with Clients in the evenings (post 5PM) for check-ins
  • Must be available 2 Saturdays and / or Sundays every month to work weddings
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within 1.5 hours of Hoboken, NJ
  • Must be able to work in a high-stress level environment while remaining structured, calm, professional, and positive
