Job Description

The Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gyms is a fast-paced growing company looking to add a Marketing Coordinator to our corporate team. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for building brand awareness to ultimately introduce as many people to the exciting sport of rock climbing at The Gravity Vault. This individual will also be responsible for improving customer engagement and retention with the goal of increasing the company’s revenue.

Our ideal candidate is a creative, self-starter with a marketing background, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. If you think you have what it takes to take our marketing to the next level, we want to hear from you.

*This position is based in Hoboken but candidates must have the ability to travel to our Upper Saddle River, Chatham and Montclair, NJ locations 1-2 times per week and franchise locations 1-2 times per year.

-Develop, execute and manage our marketing and communication plans for all corporate locations to drive sales and achieve membership targets
-Manage website content for all locations and develop SEO strategies
-Expand our current social media presence and generate on-brand content to inform customers and prospects of products, services and events
-Develop a media plan and define distribution channels for commercials
-Promote member and charity events as well as competitions
-Assist in the creation and design of marketing materials for corporate and franchise locations
-Track and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns
-Present ideas and final deliverables to the Corporate Management team and communicate on marketing programs, strategies and budgets
-Learn the operational components of our Franchising business with the goal of creating a synergistic image across the brand.

-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Hospitality
-1-2 years of related marketing experience including digital and social media marketing
-Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
-Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
-Ability to travel as necessary
-Experience with graphic design and Google Analytics
